by Mirko on Jan.11, 2010, under Compositions , Flowers , Photography , Still Life
I always saw beautiful sunsets and landscapes of all kinds in HDR, but I never got to bring your tripod and do some testing, so I decided to try HDR on a still life, a dried rose ..
Are not where the final result can be called a true HDR photo, but they are very satisfied with the picture!
These are the original shots

Throughout I have used seven shots, varying only the exposure time (fixed iris, white balance automatically and raw).
This is the result
To achieve the HDR I used the free software qtpfsgui (mac / win).

Still life at home, great strides! At least for me:)
by Mirko on Apr.06, 2009, under Flowers , Photography , Macro , Still life
Also for those who say that after photographer always the same subjects, and unfortunately at the bottom right, here is a further proof of still life.
This time I tried to build a softbox, I think you call it ... a simple cardboard box, pierced with windows on several sides, and they attacked on sheets of white paper and illuminated by two fluorescent light bulbs tiny.
Well, I do not know who's used to, but I know finally able to photograph any subject without too many problems with white balance and color almost faithful. I say almost because in some photos faithful think there is a predominance of blue, but this is my point of view because of photographic technique does not understand almost anything ...
The usual photos were taken with the Nikon D90 and Tamron 55-200mm lens and the classic series comes with the D90 kit, 18-55mm.
